Description

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS – 10 m STEEL LIGHTING POLE

A round-section, telescopic, four-section metal lighting pole, manufactured in accordance with ELOT 40-5.
The first section is 2 m long and consists of a steel tube with a diameter of Ø159 mm and a thickness of 5 mm.

The second section is 2 m long and consists of a steel tube with a diameter of Ø127 mm and a thickness of 3 mm.
The third section is 3 m long and consists of a steel tube with a diameter of Ø114 mm and a thickness of 3 mm.

The fourth section is 3 m long and consists of a steel tube with a diameter of Ø89 mm and a thickness of 3 mm.
The connections between the above sections are suitably formed using a pressing machine so that the larger diameter section fits securely over the end of the smaller section, which is inserted 100 mm inside it.
The pole shaft is mounted on a 400 × 400 mm steel square base plate, with a thickness of 16 mm.

The base plate is reinforced with four 12 mm-thick reinforcing fins, shaped as right triangles measuring 200 × 100 mm.
The base plate also features a central Ø100 mm hole for routing underground cables into the pole, as well as four Ø30 mm holes for securing the pole with M24 bolts.
The pole has an access hatch located 800 mm above the base, measuring 286 × 80 mm, for installation of the terminal box and grounding screw.
The hatch is closed with a sheet-metal door of the same thickness, secured with stainless-steel screws. When installed, the door does not protrude from the pole.
At the top, the pole features a 200 mm-long steel tube, with a diameter of Ø76 mm and a thickness of 3 mm, serving as a mounting socket for a lighting arm or floodlight bracket.
All welding is carried out by certified technicians using state-of-the-art MIG welding machines. The welds are straight and watertight, achieving at least 80% material penetration.
After visual, dimensional, and functional inspection, the pole is thoroughly smoothed and then fully hot-dip galvanized in accordance with the European Standard EN ISO 1461, with a minimum zinc coating thickness of 70 μm (500 g/m²).

The entire manufacturing and finishing process, as well as the materials used, are continuously inspected in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 certification standards.
The steel used is St 37-2 and is always accompanied by the corresponding certificates.

10 m POLE ANCHOR BOLT ASSEMBLY

The anchor assembly consists of four galvanized threaded rods, with a diameter of 24 mm and a length of 750 mm, featuring properly machined threads.
The four rods are interconnected using 40 × 4 mm steel flat bars, securely welded around the perimeter at two points and crosswise at two points (top and bottom). This prevents movement during concrete embedding and provides a larger anchoring surface within the concrete.

Each threaded rod is supplied with two washers and two nuts.

FLOODLIGHT BRACKET
A metal support bracket for mounting floodlights at the top of the pole.
The bracket consists of a socket that fits onto the pole and a crossbar on which the floodlights are mounted. The socket has a suitable cross-section and length according to the dimensions of the pole’s top section. The socket is inserted into the top of the pole and secured with four M10 bolts.
At the top, it features a crossbar made of 50 × 50 × 5 mm angle steel, hollow section steel, or suitably formed sheet metal of the appropriate length for mounting the floodlights.
After surface scraping, cleaning, and other preparation processes, the bracket is fully hot-dip galvanized in accordance with the European Standard EN ISO 1461, with a minimum zinc coating thickness of 70 μm (500 g/m²).
